Around SBN: Sixers Vs. Celtics: Countdown To Game Seven

[Gilbert] Arenas, who seems baffled by his knee troubles, has come up with a number of hypotheses for his injuries, including the weather. Now, he has a new one — too much sitting down.

"I sit so much; it’s all I do," Arenas said. "I do a lot of sitting. I hang out around the house just sitting. … So, the days I don’t really stretch it, and then I start running on it, it just kills back here."

define "person we've been waiting for"

Orlando Magic. Oregon Ducks. Seattle Mariners. Jacksonville Jaguars.

sadly

Agent Zero is just that. A zero. As in Zero factor in regular season games, and my bet: zero show for playoff games as well. I hope Gil doesn’t start complaining about sitting now; he is going to sit on the end of that bench until his contract runs out. Then, he’ll be sitting at home… watching the games on TV.

Is it just me

Or does everything that comes out of his mouth sound like an excuse… The schtick is getting old

It's the hard-knock life for Gil.

Don't mind my spelling. I'm a Typo Master.

OH man, he's really not helping his case here.

Please someone get the man a Wii, PS Move or Kinect so he can hang out while standing!

You thought his knee was done? No! He just needs different video games!

Man, he makes it too easy.

I don’t even need to say anything.

Otis Smith, what you've just done is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard of. At no point in your rambling, incoherent trades were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this blog is now dumber for having witnessed it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

He just wants attention.

He will think of 2 more reasons (excuses) before playoff starts. Get used to it and take it as some sort of entertainment.

I rarely post but the magic lost me trading rashard for gil. Not worth it. Bad future move. I know it was pissing off bass and anderson being better than rashard. But if Gil can get benched so can rashard. Even if he’s not happy, he would be a fine bench player and who knows hedo might have sparked something with him… Sad days

Washington didn't call no takebacks!

Give us back Lew, at least we wouldn’t have to listen to Rashard’s armchair diagnoses.

Thanks but no thanks

Gil’s all yours now.

I thought he was getting into a rhythm throughout the 2009-2010 season before the suspension and he was putting up good numbers. This season was a weird one for him because John Wall was the bonafide point guard and the team also traded for Kirk Hinrich as a mentor, which gave the Wizards three point guards who all could start (on paper). Gilbert was clearly out of place and the team was gonna move him for almost anyone who was willing to take a shot and fortunately, we were able to part with Gilbert just one year after the gun. Rashard is a good guy, though on a team as bad as the Wizards, he can’t really change too many games in our favor ither..
