Grant Hill signs with Phoenix, ditches us (again).
He is signing a 6.5M contract for a year. "The swingman revived his career in Orlando and has played four steady seasons for the Suns, averaging 12.3 points. He is still one of the league's best defensive players, often matched up against players like LeBron James, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant, and has been durable in his later years, playing less than 80 games just once while in Phoenix."
I think it would have been a nice gesture from him to sign with us for the minimum and help keeping Dwight in Orlando, instead of going after the money in a semi rebuilding team. We could have use his good D and scoring. We stood by him all those bad years, helped him to recover and then he dumped us and never care about Orlando anymore... "Mr. Nice Guy" yeah...

I think Evan was more alluding to the fact that there was no evidence the team even wanted to resign Hill.
Please leave a message, I'm busy hiding my cat from TGS.
that still wont prevent me for calling him a douche
paid him all that money and he bolts as soon as he can
With the 15th pick, the Miami Dolphins select John Stamos....'s brother

You both have a point. It was just a "frustration fanpost"
Grant Hill signing once again with Phoenix is like learning that your orld girlfriend who ditched you is getting married. Doesn’t matter if you still love her, it’s just annoying!
Possibly.
It would be tough to have a constant reminder of what could have (should have) been in Orlando during the Hill/McGrady years around the team.
