possible trades
trades
My first trade would consist of Carter for Toronto trade excemption and belinelli
why?we would have some cap relief and I`m tired of Carter production
why raptors he will bring revenue to the raptors he will teach there young players like derozan and weems and he is an expiring contract
The second trade would be Lewis for RIP Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince
why for pistons they would only get lewis contract this year but next year Lewis would be in the same situation of carter because his contract is not guarantedd, and the piston will be getting 60 millions of there books.
why for magic rip plays defense has experience is a champion and it`s proven of playoffs he is perfect with the midrange and three point.
prince is an excellent defensive stopper he does a real good job on the rivals SF. He has three point shooting and this is his last year that would be 11 million coming off the books for us
TEAM
nelson/ duhon/ williams
RIP/JJ/belinelli
Prince/Pietrus/richardson
Anderson/Bass
Howard/gortat/orton

yeah toronto is just going to eat 18 millions worth of salary for a player who is absolutely hated there
and trade exceptions cannot be traded alongside another player. Orlando can get a much better deal for Vince’s contract next summer (or mid-season) than a crappy European kid and salary space. As much as you don’t like him, he is still a quality player i this league.
No one is taking Rashard Lewis’ contract. Ever. Not until he is expiring, which is a long ways off.
Sorry, this doesn't work.

Lewis has 2 years remaining on his deal before his unguaranteed last year.
He is owed roughly $19.5 million this season and $21.1 next season. The year after that, he is scheduled to make $22.7million, but as I said, that year is the year of the non-guaranteed contract.

$10 million is guaranteed. The rest of the money is tied up in performance incentives, the specifics of which are currently unknown.
I imagine they involve games/minutes played clauses, though. And given Lewis’ durability, he seems likely to meet them.
I’d love to know what the incentives are.
Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up for me guys. I was just going off of Shamsports' "unguaranteed" listing. I always wondered if that meant it wasnt guaranteed or if it was partial. Thanks

He'll play the third year
Unless his production falls off a cliff and doesn’t meet the performance clauses.

The original posters name of DUH seems quite ironic...
Please learn to research and make realistic trades before posting =P
Particularly since he’s saying to trade Carter for Bellinelli and a trade exception, which can’t happen (exceptions can’t be packaged with an outgoing player). I find some of the more over-the-top trades amusing to think about, but I do prefer they actually be possible.
Honor is no substitute for victory.
Tempted to re-title this FanPost "impossible trades"
