my over reaction trade of the day

Orlando- paul, battier (duke reunion tour continues), okafor

NO- vince carter, trevor ariza, jordan hill

Houston- tyson chandler, ryan anderson, brandon bass

Cha- jameer, gortat

Orlando gets paul, i dont really need to explain that part, we get battier to defend james, and okafor to give us a defensive and rebounding presence next to d12.

NO- gets cap relief and two young players at a cheap price (still might not be enough...i know, we just have to hope the owner gets desperate and paul gets more vocal)

HOuston get chandler the player they covet next to yao, and two young fours

Cha get a cheap big and jameer to replace felton,

discuss, who says no? would it be enough for the magic?

Who says no first? why?

BEAT THE HEAT!!

Won't happen but if it did it could work.

Are we including BARNES? Seems to have lost depth. Would shard move to the 3?

1 – CP3 / DUHON
2 – JJ / MP
3 – SHARD / BATTIER
4 – SHARD / OKAFOR
5 – D12

we’d still have to play the 4-1

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

Lopsided

In favor of the Bobcats—giving up an injury-prone, overpaid C for a starting caliber C and a very good starting PG.

Wouldn’t be all that bad if somehow you could send Hill to Charlotte and Gortat to NO, as that is the player I think they would rather have, and the other problem I think is that Houston wouldn’t mind moving Battier as he is expiring after this year, but giving up both him and Ariza leaving only budinger as their only legit SF leaves them weak at a once strong position before the trade. Oh and now with Chandler gone, this deal would have to be amended slightly.

Here is something I just cooked up
, cuz it was kinda fun doing this ridiculous 4 team deal that will never happen.

Keep in mind that in this FAKE scenario, we would be giving up a future 1st and 2nd to Houston for participating, a 1st to NO as well as a future 2nd to Charlotte.

Side Note Daniel Orton could be included in a deal to anyone but his salary wasn’t on the Trade Machine yet, so he couldn’t be used, although he would available if necessary.

So here it is if you’re too lazy to click the link lol.

ORL Receives – Paul, Posey, Okafor

NO Receives – Gortat, Battier, Carter, Nelson, 2 Future 1sts (2011 from ORL, draft rights in 2012 (we pick for them, trade for crappy player or trade exception later)

Houston Receives – Brandon Bass, DJ Augustin, Future 1st, Future 2nd (2013 from ORL)

CHA Receives – Jordan Hill Future 2nd (from ORL)
