Seriously? The kid is 24. Let me reiterate that 24! I'm 25 and I have no hope of ever accomplishing in my respective industry what he has done in basketball. He just finished a season where he accomplished a feat never accomplished before (since the league started keeping blocks as a statistic). Yet Charles Oakley of all people feels like it's his turn to jump on the f*ck Dwight bandwagon?
As a fan this infuriates me to no end. Lebron who is praised across the globe as the greatest basketball player known to man, actually has 1 less Finals victory on his belt than the lowly Dwight Howard. Does Dwight need to improve in certain areas? Yes. Does every other player in the NBA have areas that they can improve upon? Of course. It is unjust to hear Dwight being singled out amongst the entire NBA as someone that needs drastic improvements.
How about this: We get ahold of every D12 critic's email address and send mass emails asking for areas that other all star players need to work on. I'm not sure if Dwight ever reads this website, but if he does, please do not let this nonsense distract you. That is all these analysts, and former players are trying to do. Distract viewers, listeners, and readers from the fact that when the rest of your game catches up to your athleticism you could very well go down as one of the best big men in the history of this game! Keep your chin up and let's bring that ship home!
Sorry but I had to get that frustration out before I cause physical harm to the nearest person...
