The Orlando Magic selected Stanley Robinson, a 6'08" combo forward from Connecticut, with the 59th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. Robinson averaged 14.5 points and 7.6 rebounds in his last season with Connecticut. He's regarded as an excellent athlete, which Magic GM Otis Smith emphasized when he addressed the media moments ago.
Smith also said Robinson was the "best available player," and advised against using the 59th pick to draft for need. He expects Robinson to join the team for the Orlando Pro Summer League when play starts July 5th.
