Everyone knows now that Rudy Fernandez is not happy in Portland. The guy would welcome a trade with open arms. He has openly discussed his frustrations with his role on the team. Why not the Magic? I have been high on this guy since I saw him come into the league two years ago. He is a way better athlete than given credit for (see 2009 dunk contest), he can shoot the three lights out (40% two years ago, 37% last year), he has a high IQ and rarely turns the ball over. His contract is only worth 1.25M, this year, and a team option of 2.18M the year after. I see him as a Mickael Pietrus, only 1/5 the salary and takes better shots. I'm not sure if we have the pieces to trade for him but I think he would be a good fit in Orlando.
So I ask you, what do you think of acquiring Rudy Fernadez in a trade?
