Orlando Magic 2010 Mock Draft Update, Vol. 2: Quincy Pondexter and Terrico White Dominate the Mocks
The NBA Draft stands just four days away and the Orlando Magic's small, private workout with five prospects looms tomorrow. Now's as good a time as any to take a look around the internet to see what the major draft sites are saying about whom Orlando might target with the 29th overall selection. Although the Magic also have the 59th pick, I thought it'd be more prudent to focus solely on the first-rounder for now.

Washington small forward Quincy Pondexter, whose selection I endorsed this weekend, remains the most common pick. Curiously, Mississippi combo guard Terrico White is just as popular, despite not garnering any mentions the first time we did this exercise. New Mexico small forward Darington Hobson is the only other player to be named twice.
Of the five players scheduled to work out for the Magic tomorrow, Jordan Crawford, Hobson, and Pondexter are the only ones to appear in this survey. None of the mock drafts I surveyed had the Magic picking Devin Ebanks or Greivis Vasquez.
Vote below on which of the players this survey mentioned you think would make the best fit for Orlando, but do it quickly: it closes Tuesday night at midnight, because we might just have time for another quick look on Wednesday.

Bledsoe and Crawford
Bledsoe can shoot the three and is really young. Crawford showed me something in the game against KSU. Deep range and, despite people saying he is a ball hog, he knew when to take over and when to let the other Xavier player take over. Crawford really impressed.
I like Crawford a lot.
He is extremely clutch, can create his own shot off the dribble, and take over games. He can score from all over the floor and I think he’ll fit the Magic very well. However, he can only play one position and it probably won’t need to be addressed as badly as the other wing position but if Crawford ends up in a Magic uniform, I’d be ecstatic.

If they draft Crawford, The Magic will be adding to their list of having players who've dunked on Lebron...
Crawford, Courtney Lee, Britton Johnson…LOL
Yeah, Crawford is an intriguing prospect.
…I see him playing a similar role as another Crawford (Jamal) for a good team. The Magic could use a player who can create his own shot off the bench. Chad Ford (ESPN) thinks that Crawford is the biggest sleeper in this draft. But I think Otis might want a slightly taller guy who can give us minutes at SF as well. Having said that, I wouldn’t be mad if the Magic chose him. But I’m leaning towards Hobson or Pondexter.
Hey Ben, there are a lot of duplicates on your list!

I'll tell ya about the Magic It'll free your soul but it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock n roll
The only way to stop LeBron is Smith and Wesson, but even that's a double team.

Knicks might buy a 1st rounder for Darington Hobson, his camp believes he is in 20-30 range.
Pistons will select Mikhail Torrance at 36, but its believed thats his floor and he can go 20’s also.
Eric Bledsoe is vastly overrated.
People keep talking about his gaudy shooting numbers but he had John Wall give him open looks plus the low-block presence of DeMarcus Cousins who relentlessly commanded double-teams; even Patrick Patterson had more of an impact on the offensive end than Bledsoe. Eric Bledsoe is too small to play SG in the NBA so he’ll have to play the point. I have not seen an ability from him to create his own shot or even run an offense because 3 turnovers a game without even being Kentucky’s primary ball-handler is just appalling. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I’m not sold on Eric Bledsoe at all.

I'm leaning towards Hobson and Pondexter
I like the fact Hobson is like a Ariza/Barnes player – we need length in our lineup. 3 point shooting might be a downside but I doubt the rookies will get much chances to shoot anyway, which rules out Dominique Jones for me.
Q Pon’s not bad either. Bledsoe might be taken by the time Otis gets to choose, and Jordan Crawford is still feeding off the hype from that dunk.
