When I discussed the NBA Finals on this site before, I was met with some indifference, which is understandable. Without being too obvious, the Finals involve the Boston Celtics and the L.A. Lakers, and not the Orlando Magic, so it's reasonable that Magic fans wouldn't be interested in watching it. But tonight, in Game 7, the season is on the line. If you're not a fan of either team--or just outright hate both teams, really--tonight's game is the one to watch. And in case you missed the first 6 games, NBA.com has cut together these nice mini-movies to help you get caught up:

Kobe if the Lakers win.
He’s been outstanding up until this game. If the Celtics win it’ll be Paul Pierce. This series has been all about the role players though. One day it’s Ray Allen, the next it’s Glen Davis. There hasn’t been a clear cut Finals MVP except for Kobe. But if the Celtics win it’ll be a toss up. Pierce has been their most consistent though.

But as far as getting out the group stage, Ivory Coast is the only one with a real shot. As far as winning it all, Brazil and Germany both looked incredible. I still think Portugal is a sleeper.

They're solid defensively
Carvalho and Alves are both decent defenders, yeah. So’s Pepe, but they have to play him in midfield because their other midfielders suck so hard.
Their offensive strategy is basically give it to Ronaldo and pray. They only had one shot on target in their first game, and that was Ronaldo. If Deco was half the player he used to be or Nani hadn’t got injured they might still have a chance, but I just can’t see them scoring more than about 3 goals all tournament.
Plus their coach is completely clueless.

Celticsblog people were all up in arms the other day
about the inadvertent elbow from Ron Artest to Rondo. They said that it was intentional and he should be suspended. (Pretty much a carbon copy of what they were saying about Dwight from our series).

But that has to have been the WORST f*cking NBA Finals I’ve ever had the misfortune of watching. Bad calls, boring and flat out strange games, and so much wannabe nostalgia shoved down my throat…I’m just glad this crap is over.

I was up celebating the end of this series.
reading this site is funny,
i mean really funny! Talk about sore losers and crying over spilt milk. The entire website is a commercial for class coaching. Dudes, stop whining, stop complaining, stop making excuses, stop acting like 5 year olds.
It was an intense series, one for the ages. The restaurant i was at during game 7 just stopped. They didn’t allow sound from the tv, but everyone had stepped away from their tables and were surrounding the no-sound television sets. Cheers went up around the restaurant and hotel. It was captivating stuff, and an epic series.
The complaining, excuses, insults and the like just show what type of class you have. Good luck winning next year. With fans like this, let’s just hope the magic go another 15 years before they make the finals again, lol.
Only thing I get from people leaving their tables to watch that ugly game was that :
either the food in that restaurant was crap, or you were in LA.
