You gonna watch?

Just a simple poll to see what everyone is doing for the NBA finals now that our season is over :( I myself will not be going out of my way to catch the games but if i have nothing else to do i might watch a little bit of them (probably just the 4th quarters). I'm kinda rooting for the Lakers (god i hate saying that!), but i just dont want to see Kevin Garnett ranting about how he owes everything to "momma, peanut, jojo, c-dog, and tyrone" (youtube it) and cheesily yelling the adidas slogan "Anything is possible!" like he did after they won it all in '08 if they win again.

Go magic in 2010-2011! SO much to look forward to!

Wow

I’m not interested in watching the series if the Magic are done, but I’m pleased to see that some others are. I guess we’re an NBA town after all.

I've watched every Finals since '92.

But I just don’t think I can get myself to watch this one. I don’t like either team (although I’d rather LA win just because I can’t stand Boston fans), so that’s one strike. PHX getting in would’ve made me watch and root for them, but alas. Seeing as how I don’t think I’ve been this depressed about the end of a Magic season since maybe that 3-1 collapse against Detroit, I just can’t muster the strength to watch any ball right now.

Maybe if I’m reallllyyyy bored…

I love LeBron. No really, I love Jameer.

That 3-1 collapse against Detroit... Ugh, brutal.

That and the recent Game 2 loss vs. BOS at home rank as the two lowest points in my Magic fan-dom.

Garnett's signing a shoe deal with someone else

For next season, apparently, so I suppose he’ll at least keep the adidas pub to a minimum if the Celtics win.

I probably won’t watch all of the games, but I might catch a few 4th quarters if it’s close or something.

Garnett did have

a “liftime contract” with a.d.i.d.a.s (All Day I Dream About Soccer) but i guess they let him out of it. here is an article on it…..enjoy

Too painful to watch

I really hate both teams, but if I had to choose I’d want the Lakers to win. And just like you, i HATE saying that. I lost a lot of respect for Boston during the series. Honestly, the only one I respect is Ray Allen (although I hate his mom). All the flopping by Pierce and Rondo, the constant whining by everyone, and the Garnett blatant elbows really turned me off. And then the fans calling for Dwight’s head for an inadvertant elbow really made me want them to lose.

I have no desire...

to watch either of these teams win anything, there’s not even a player I want to root for, this is the biggest letdown of a finals from a Magic standpoint possible, I’m rooting for a swine flu outbreak and a cancellation of the finals.
