The Orlando Magic will try to save their season tonight when they face elimination from the Eastern Conference Finals at Amway Arena against the Boston Celtics. Riding reasonably high after their first win in the series, Orlando has a chance to make the Conference Finals interesting with a win, shifting the competition back to Boston for what could be the Celtics' last home game of the season. No one, except for the good people voting in this poll, believes Orlando will pull off the historic comeback. But maybe it will happen. After all, Celtics star point guard Rajon Rondo just made the cover of Sports Illustrated, so he's due for a devastating knee injury any day now, isn't he?

One of my favorite parts of game 4 is...
when Dwight Howard stood up to KG and repeatedly said, “I want you to hit me,” and Matt Barnes got up in Garnett’s face, pretending to calm him down. I’m not saying the Magic should start an on-court brawl. But showing some fight is ALL I want to see out of this team. If we go down losing, I wanna see that we gave 110% doing so.

And getting ejected is bad, but instead of JUST blaming the refs… He already got 1 technical earlier. If he hadn’t cheaply elbowed Peaches, he’d still be in the game. Therefore, blame Perkins.
And he should’ve controlled himself and not thrown a tantrum because of a bad call.
After Duncan got ejected for LAUGHING at a call that Joe Crawford made that one time, Perkins getting ejected for that shouldn’t be a surprise.
But of course, the “Magic gonna get sweep’d” guys at halftime are blaming the refs even more.
The officials don’t take that kinda stuff lightly. Of course the officials are over-reacting, but that’s normal. Too bad, move on. I haven’t seen the Celtics get a game-winning performance from Perkins before anyway.

But Dwight’s been called for much worse on multiple occasions. I wasn’t shocked.

My point is that Boston has to lose 2 MORE games. Those are not good odds. Am I happy the Magic won game 5? Yes of course. But let’s be real here: The Magic also got a ton of breaks tonight too. This series isn’t over until the Celtics win a 4th game or the Magic win a 4th game.

And I’m counting the number of injuries and stingers, and the low number of days the Celts have to rest. And counting how many points the Celts gave up in the last two games. And I’m counting the great stats Howard is racking up, and the horrible stats Rondo and the other Celts are getting.
And count in the fact that the big mo, momentum, is on our side.
So counting on our players, we’ve got a good chance.
So don’t count the Magic out yet. They’re going to bring it and try to make history. Count on it.

I know the plus/minus stat isn't that useful for individual players...But when a player has consistently has had the highest "+" in every game...
It has to account for something (see JJ Redick, who once again led with a +18).
I hope all those "MAGIC FANS" who wanted us to lose game 4 didn't tune in to this one either.
And we don’t need or want you when we bring this back to Orlando for game 7. Get lost, haters.

It can’t be trolls, they would vote “lose in 5 games”… or maybe, if they want to see another game at the Boston Garden they could vote “lose in 6”. Only explanation I can find is that people that chose “lose in 7” did it for superstitious reasons.

Referees handed the game to the Magic. Magic were knocking people unconscious and no calls. Carter is still a no-show. Rashard Lewis only appeared in garbage time. Magic were in a must win situation anyways. Game 6 is in Boston and the Celtics know how to win there.

Yeah, NFL concussions are really constant.
And their rules are strict. If NBA had NFL concussion rules, then Davis would be out the entire post-season (mainly because concussions are easily re-injured too, especially in physical games.)

Boston fouls Dwight every chance they get, and those are all hard fouls. They can't complain at all about the Magic playing rough.
Big Baby’s concussion was unintentional, and Daniels was an unfortunate move done by himself.
Also, I think Perkin’s first T will be rescinded and he will be able to play next game.
