Hoping the 2010 magic dont become the 1996 magic
Sounds too familiar. A magic team that went to the finals, only to lose its way after missed free throws cost them a game (anderson/howard). On its way to the finals, it met a defending/recent champion not completely healthy or with a rusty star (garnett/jordan) and defeated the former champ. The next year, seemingly upgraded and destined for a return trip and championship, meets that same former champ only this time with a healthy and complete lineup and gets destroyed (bulls 4-0, celtics 3-0 and counting). Almost scary how this has played out and history has repeated itself.

...except the franchise player isn't going anywhere this summer.
"Where do you go from here, Dion?" "I go to Toronto."
Spreading that Calgary Flames, Montreal Expos, The U, and Orlando Magic love.
The one good thing is we dont have worry about a Shaq like shock to the franchise
But I do feel like Otis is gonna make a few big changes that will change the team in a major way to get us over the hump. And that, much like the Hedo thing may end up being something that people hold against us….again. Depends on how we do in 2011 with the changes (and I think there will be changes)

Nah, Hedos passing game is missed but 2 straight declining seasons, 30+ yrs old. There’s many other players who fit better, or can make a new system that’s even better.
