Scoreboard Watching will give Orlando Magic fans a heads-up on which games with potential playoff implications to pay attention to.
If you're a basketball fan, you've probably already planned to watch tonight's Game 5 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics. But if you're an Orlando Magic fan, this game means more to you than most others, because the winner of this series will face the Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals. I don't even know who I want to win any more.
I’m almost tempted to say Cleveland, and here’s why.
The Magic have to start preparing for one opponent or the other, right? I mean, they could prepare for both simultaneously, but that’s not good.
And if the Cavs win, they’re the prohibitive favorites, right?
But if Boston wins… don’t you still kind of think the Cavs have a shot?
I can see the Cavs recovering from a 3-2 deficit a lot more than I can see the Celtics doing it, that’s for sure.
I just feel like the big advantage the Magic are going to have over anyone they face (aside from raw talent) is preparation — and anything that allows the Magic to get a jump on their focus is good.
On the other hand, a Celtics win also makes a 7-game series more likely…

I want Cleveland to win
simply because the critics will find any reason to negate a Magic championship unless it goes through both Cleveland and LA.

You outscored ATL by 43 in game 1 alone. All 4 games against the Bobcats you only outscored them by a total of 37. Bobcats seriously limited Howard, fouled him out twice… Against ATL 37 MPG, 21 PPG.
So do me a favor and outscore everybody else by more than 37 points.
BTW… I really would like to see LeBron get a ring. But I seriously think it’s yours to lose this year.

Altho strictly not a PG, D-West will get a lot of the covering assignment on Nelson. From the Cavs side, D-West is the perfect defensive matchup against Nelson.
but if he keeps up his subpar play in the post season.. i don’t even know if that would matter. not to mention you could have west defend nelson but play the 2 spot with mo in still

and i am certain he would school either of them in the post repeatedly (as seen in the last game we played against them in orlando)

Last year, we won despite the refs; although, the calls weren’t as egregious as say Dwyane Wade against Dallas in the Finals. Still, Lebron will barrel to the basket and the refs would call a foul on whoever was closest.

I think JJ's "defense" on Ray last year was somewhat overstated.
I believe Ray was suffering from something going on with his hamstring. But JJ is so experienced with running around screens of his own anyways, I don’t think he would have much trouble doing it anyways.

I remember last season, LeBron was rooting for the C's to eliminate us

the people who write the news posts there are so unprofessional
they are ridiculously homer-istic and frequently insult other teams/players/etc. i have noticed they hardly have any type of following. their game threads are routinely under 200 posts total, with most of those posts coming from the same 1-2 people.
And i am not one to rip on blogs.
but i feel like the Celtics blog is 10x better.

CelticsBlog has non-stop content on their thorughout the day, I enjoy checking it out. But they are true “Masters of Panic” on that blog. When the C’s lose, they start trading the whole team, when they win, they talk sh*t about the Magic.

we can still trade brandon bass and the TPE we got for Turk before we trade Gortat.
Not that I am saying we won’t end up trading Gortat anyways, but we will need a backup center on the roster before that happens.

Not a great coach, maybe. But a wonderful human being and very approachable.
His kids go to school at Winter Park and live a few streets away from me. I see him hitting golf balls a lot during the off season and believe it or not he will take time to chat about basketball with you and is very easy to talk to. I like Doc all coaching aside.

Mike Brown’s stubbornness to not play JJ Hickson is gonna get him axed.
I still think the Cavs will win this series in 7 (at some point Brown has to come to his senses right?)
But on the chance we now have to face Boston, they kinda present some challenges now that they have a seemingly new found sense of energy. They have the bigs to harass Dwight even if they are a shell of themselves (Sheed, KG, Davis, Perkins). I mean a bunch of stiffs in Charlotte got him in foul trouble and I wouldn’t take stock in the Atlanta series seeing as Hawks cant work together as a unit.
On the flip side who guards Rondo? He’s playing crazy and he gave us fits during the one loss we had to them.
I know we owned these guys to a certain extent in the regular season and Doc flat out said they couldn’t beat us…but they\re playing much better ball now. And I think Stan is aware of that as he acknowledged last year’s win with Boston without KG was a struggle and the fact they are hitting their stride.
I dont know its weird now Im more worried about Boston when I factor the frontcourt and Rondo.

I was in the house tonight 8 rows from the court, and ALL I have to say is I just lost a TON of respect for Bron tonight.
Got to the Q/my seats 1 hour before tip off and watched him very closely. Didn’t take 1 serious/game situation shot throughout the ENTIRE warm up. Was shooting 35 footers kicking his legs apart like a retard 5 minutes before the game straight joking around. And then proceeds to literally throw the game. He honestly didn’t/doesn’t care. You look at his body language and dude has already checked out. Bags are already packed for NYC. He wasn’t even interested in arguably the biggest game of his career.
I didn’t boo him, but didn’t have a problem w/people booing him tonight. The dude was literally NOT TRYING. It was THAT blatant. You had to be there to truly take it it/“WITNESS” it. …#!#* was absolutely DISGUSTING.

Wojnarowski has been on LeBron's camp all season.
He even said there was no way the Cavs couldn’t make it to the Finals, just before the start of the 2nd round. I didn’t watch the game (Boston and Cavs? Ugh, I had other stuff to do), but for him to come out like that against “The King”, it’s really something else.
