Lebron stopper?
Now I know that nobody can stop Lebron on defense but i'm curious and I'd like to hear who everyone on here thinks guards Lebron James the best? I was looking for statistics but I wasn't successful. Is it Peitrus? lol judging by Lebron James' beastly numbers in th ECF I wouldn't think so. Gerald Wallace? They do own the Cavs. Any ideas or facts? It would be interesting to know who holds him to a low ppg avg.

That was merely the title, in the post I ask who guards him the best.

There's no such thing as a LeBron-stopper.
To answer your question, I don’t know. Off-hand, I think it’s Wallace but I’d have to look at the numbers.

LeBron stopper?? hahahahahahahaha
No mistakes in the tango, Donna. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....
I think "slower" is a better term. No one person can stop LeBron, but it is possible to at least sow him just a bit
As far as who does the best job of that, the Magic might already have him: Mickael Pietrus. He held LeBron to 29.1% jump-shooting in last year’s playoffs. The rest of the Magic players? 44.1% He made LeBron’s jumpers one-third less efficient, which is impressive.
I agree
Peitrus makes it tougher on Lebron. I think Artest has the skills to make Lebron work for his buckets.
Lebron, Kobe, Carmelo, Wade, and Durant are wing guys you don’t stop, you just hope to slow them down.

The thought of being able to throw Pietrus and Barnes at LeBron actually makes me somewhat happy
The two of them are just so crazy and high-energy that even if LBJ gets his points, he’s going to have to work more than usual for them, which adds up over the course of a series. I also think he has somewhat of an “alpha dog” mentality, where if you challenge him, he wants to beat you himself rather than act as a distributor. We saw last year that 1-on-5 didn’t work; hopefully that will continue to hold true.

finding someone to guard lebron is virtually impossible but i do think that the magic need to do something before the trade deadline. a combo guard for bass would be a good thing for the magic

The odds of Otis making a move is slim to none, to be honest.

With the ESPN machine, tough to make a move that is minor and benefits both teams.

I think the Sixers will insist on including either Dalembert or Brand in any trade for a young, good player
And Orlando doesn’t have the assets or inclination to absorb their bloated deals, so I’d say no, Williams is unlikely.
But if the Sixers were willing to part with him without Brand or Sammy D, then the Magic might listen.
I hate Louis Williams' game.
And his hair.
I hate Varejao.
No such thing as a LeBron stopper, of course.
But as said, Pietrus makes it as hard as it can be. I mean, you saw some of those shots he forced LeBron to take in the playoffs and even in that game up in Cleveland at the end. But hey, it’s LeBron.
I hate Varejao.
