Come Back Shane

A stranger who calls himself Shane (3.3seconds) drifts into an isolated valley in the sparsely settled territory of OrlandoPinstripedPost.

It soon becomes apparent that he is a Magic Fan and he finds himself drawn into a conflict between founder and moderatior Evan Dunlap (Ben Q. Rock)  and internet bully David Polega (Divad Agelop)  who wants to force 3.3 and every other Magic Fan in OPP off the land. Shane accepts a job as a blog poster, but finds himself drawn to for his strength and skill with a numbers guy. 3.3 himself is uncomfortably drawn to the wholesomely charming  TheGiantSquid (a cross between Princess Lea and Jabba the Hut).

When 3.3 and the rest of the bloggers go into OPP, 3.3 gets into a wordfight with Polega. With Evan’s help, they ban Polega, and the moderator orders them out. Polega then declares that he will troll Evan on his every entry.

Even though 3.3 and Evan had saved the OPP , one of Polega’s alter egos returns to harass Evan.  As tensions mount between the factions, 3.3 declares his battle over and retires from blogging on OPP.

Then one of the bloggers who had stood up to him, name unknown,  decides to take it upon himself to convice 3.3 to return.

“3.3seconds COME BACK:. Cries the unknown blogger, “COME BACK!!”.

The post does not explicitly indicate whether 3.3 survives the wound he received in the shoutout. This has led to sometimes heated discussions among fans of the film, as depicted in the 1998 film The Negotiator.
