A look ahead to the month of December for the Magic
The Orlando Magic finished the month of November at 12-3, with one postponement, for an overall record of 13-4. For the month, the Magic were 8-2 at home, and 4-1 on the road. The Magic were 3-2 against teams that are currently at or above .500, and 9-1 against teams under .500. After 17 games last season, the Magic were also 13-4.
The month of December features a much tougher schedule for the Magic, starting with Wednesday night's game at Chicago, as the Magic play 16 games with ten road games and six home games. Four of those road games will be against teams currently over .500, while five of the home games will be against teams over .500. The Magic's longest road trip will be four games from the 9th to the 14th, and seven of their first eight games of the month will be on the road before closing the month with five of eight games at home.
Home: 6) Atlanta; 18) Philadelphia; 21) Dallas; 23) San Antonio (TNT); 25) Boston (ABC); 30) New York (TNT)
Road: 1) @ Chicago; 3) @ Detroit; 4) @ Milwaukee; 9) @ Portland (TNT); 10) @ Utah; 12) @ LA Clippers; 14th) @ Denver; 20) @ Atlanta; 27) @ New Jersey; 28) @ Cleveland
The Magic's game against the Bulls Wednesday will be the second game of a back-to-back. They play four other sets of back-to-backs this month, with three of the final four games of the back-to-back on the road.
Last December, the Magic went 9-4 for the month for an overall record of 23-8. This December, I predict the Magic will go 6-4 on the road and 5-1 at home for an 11-5 record, and a 24-9 record overall.

I predict no worse of 7-3 on the road, and 5-1 at home
The losses on the road could not be more than 3 since the only teams worthy of defeating Magic are Utah, Portland and Denver. Magic could go 8-2 or even 9-1 if they defeat Portland first but it would be tough to defeat Utah since it is on the night after Portland’s game.
At home, I predict that Magic would only lose to Dallas but would beat Boston and San Antonio.
Yes. I have inserted a level of confidence in my prediction which relates to back-to-backs with worthy teams only twice; Portland-Utah and Atlanta-Dallas.
I am firm with road record of no worse than 7-3 – although I have the luxury of Chicago’s game decided – but home record could go down to 4-2.
Bucks might be a danger game
Decent team, desperate for a win, with the Magic playing their 4th game in 5 nights.
I agree, especially with the game being on a back-to-back.
However, the night before is in Detroit which could work as a warm-up for the Magic rather than having the negative effect of a back-to-back. The con against this argument is that Bucks comes into the match on a two-day rest.
Desperate is right. Just waived Darington Hobson to sign Brian Skinner for the second time this year.
Bogut ain’t right and they’re in the Central cellar. Look out.
the Bucks are one of thoses bad surprises in the begining of this season
Don't mind my spelling. I'm a Typo Master.
I'll be a bit more optimistic after that Bulls win...
I’m going to say 8-2 on the road, and 4-2 at home…entering Jan. @ 25-8.
