Happy Thanksgiving from OPP, The Basketball Jones, and Pat Riley

J.E. Skeets of The Basketball Jones passed along the latest TBJ video, featuring a dramatization of the dynamic between Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra and president Pat Riley in the wake of Miami's 8-6 start, which worsened last night to 8-7 after the Orlando Magic sent them to their third consecutive loss. TBJ's interpretation of the events includes a memorable cameo by Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy, voiced by producer Matt Osteen.

Van Gundy stepped aside as coach of the Heat in 2005, as you may recall, after a shaky 11-10 start. Riley replaced him and led Miami to the championship, an event of which we were all reminded yesterday when L.A. Lakers coach Phil Jackson speculated that Riley could replace Spoelstra if the Heat don't improve shortly.

This is all a rather long-winded way for me to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, folks. And in case you haven't seen it, be sure to check out TBJ's previous special, "Like a Bosh," which is well worth your time and a few laughs.
