A look at the month of November for the Magic
Despite the one-sided loss to the Heat Friday night, the Orlando Magic have a favorable schedule for this month and have a great chance to finish the month as one of the top teams in the NBA record-wise. That would follow the pattern from the last four seasons. During that time, the Magic have ended November with outstanding records.
2009: 14-4
2008: 13-4
2007: 14-4
2006: 12-4
Starting Tuesday, the Magic play 16 games in 29 days this month, with ten home games and six away games.
Home:
11/3: Minnesota
11/5: New Jersey
11/8: Atlanta
11/10: Utah
11/12: Toronto
11/15: Memphis
11/18: Phoenix
11/24: Miami
11/26: Cleveland
11/30: Detroit
Away:
11/2: @ New York
11/6: @ Charlotte
11/13: @ New Jersey
11/20: @ Indiana
11/22: @ San Antonio
11/27: @ Washington
The Magic have four sets of back-to-backs this month, and three of those will feature the final game of the back-to-back on the road. From the 2nd through the 13th, the Magic play eight games in that time, and from the 18th to the 27th, the Magic play six games in that time. A busy schedule, to be sure, but there are a lot of home games in there, with the only extended road trip a two-gamer.
I project the Magic to win 4 of their 6 road games, and to win 9 of their 10 home games to finish the month with a record of 13-3 and an overall record of 14-4 to keep in tune with their outstanding starts over the last four seasons.

I say we win em all.
After Fridays game, we have a bad taste in our mouths, and we need to make a statement. I think we can win all of these games, barring injury. (God Please Forbid injuries to this Magic Team). We can win them all, its easily possible. Especially when we play Miami again, payback. I’m not over looking no one, and I also have to factor the back to backs, but I think if we focus, its possible.
I'm Mr.Magic
No it's not.
Anything less than 82-0 is unsatisfactory.

I think they would win between 12-14 games. I project road wins at 4 or 5 and home wins at 8 or 9.
What worries me more than anything else is the psyche of the team. The coach needs to emphasize to the players that MIA game was an exception, and they need to block it in their memory after the tapes of the game was reviewed and analyzed. Thankfully, it does not take long before the opportunity of redemption is upon us.
i do believe that they already know that it is only one game
we seemed to do fine after getting our crap pounded in in oklahoma city near the beginning of last year
Don't be so sure. OKC game meant nothing, and was easily written off as an "off" night.
With this MIA game, jabs were thrown around, and Dwight was talking of making a statement. It would not be easy to wipe off this game from players’ memory.
i remember the game in okc
but this game was 2 close to home rite in orlandos back yard no doubt we got a settle to score and that time will come very soon. we will win 56-60 games tho
The reason for focus
Orlando will need home-court advantage against Miami. I think the heat will lose games this year that nobody expects them to lose. I also think they will lose to Cleveland on the road.
Based on recent experience, I expct them to go 10-2
with 4 cancellations
"Teams are making adjustments to us, it’s not the other way around," Smith said. "Right after (the Heat) signed LeBron and Bosh, they went out and signed eight centers. So I’m not overly concerned."
I'll tell ya about the Magic It'll free your soul but it's like trying to tell a stranger 'bout rock n roll

Not to bad a schedule at all should win every game
The only really competitive game is the Heat.
