Marc Stein is wrong.

If anything gets me back on the Magic's bandwagon, it won't be those 21 straight preseason wins or that new arena everyone is (justifiably) raving about. It's the possibility they'll make a splash with their trade assets.

-Marc Stein

Maybe it's just the preseason hype-but I am really not interested in seeing the Magic make a trade. I am really curious to see if VC gets that 2nd season Van Gundy bounce. And I like the Bass/Anderson dynamic at present, as it seems to be really motivating those players. If anything, a more permanent solution at SF would be nice, but not at the expense of our current trade assets.

(And I am only really thinking of Carter, Bass, and Pietrus. I consider Gortat too important as a back-up to move unless God becomes available to play the 3. If you think there is someone else that Otis would deal, then include them in the discussion by all means.)

What do you think? Do you agree with Marc Stein that we need a trade? Or should we dance with the ones we came with? No need to specify exact details - I am just curious as to who our community finds to be expendable.
