Not to be confused with the "30 Rock" episode. Contraction. And to me this is what the NBA really needs to do. Off the top of my head I named 8 teams that really have no business being in the NBA. Charlotte, New Orleans, Memphis, Sacramento(Although I could see the argument for them) Cleveland, LA...Clippers(seriously if you live in LA and root for them over the Lakers you are just an idiot), Toronto, and Minnesota. Those teams in reality have no business being in the league. Some would say why Cleveland? They Just LeBron James. Nobody is going to care there anymore. Cut it down to 22 teams and have those players either drafted or become free agents. Have a lottery. Not sure but either way, get rid of those teams. Why should Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, Tyreke Evans, Kevin Love, OJ Mayo, and others be forced to play on teams that just don't matter.

People always say there are no more elite teams. This is why. Too many teams. Contract and make the Assosiation better. What say you???
