Whats your favorite single Turkoglu moment?

This one is real simple.

Since a Magic fan favorite is gone I ask, what single moment do you remember the fondest of #15 Hedo Turkoglu? This shouldnt be a discussion on his strenths or is the move good. Just what do you remember and smile a little about.

Me?

When he hits the game winner and pretend motorbikes off the court to the Magic bench. I cant remember the game, but the after shot moment was so comical it will be forever burned into my brain. I still laugh about it today.

Adios #15 G/L and thanks for the laugh.

Has to be his game-winning shot in Game 4 of the Philadelphia series.

Arguably saved the season for Orlando.

Game winning shot at Portland on Dec 9, 2008

I’ve watched that game 3 times and still get the shivers when that final shot goes in.

Ditto

that was early in the season and Boston was damn near unstoppable. it laid the foundation for his “improvement” that year.

agreed

I loved the Boston shot, it combined everything about him that made him good… skill (he made it)… confidence (he took it from a terrible spot after wasting most of the clock) and a little bit of luck (he banked it WITHOUT calling it!)

YES

I was working at a coffee shop at the time, making someone’s drink with the game on. When he hit that shot, I flipped out!!! Nearly spilled his drink, but I was an awesome barista :)

My favorite(s) were

1st-Game 4 vs. Philly…It was like living in slow motion. It was almost like he KNEW he was gonna hit it, he just wanted to make everyone suffer. My dad and I couldn’t breathe

Close 2nd- Throwing the game winning Alley from OUT OF BOUNDS to Dwight vs. the Spurs…that just wasn’t right!!

does anyone remember?

I cant remember the game where Hedo hits a huge shot and then pretend motorbikes away? I remember the announcers replaying his celebration a few times even in slow motion. He was goosing the throttle and his cheeks all puffed out because he was making the sound too!. It was a few (several?) games before he ran off juggling his imaginary stones ( I was surprised he didnt get fined for that one)
Oh well this is the cost of not paying attention to particulars and having bad memory for details.

Thats me chilling with Nick Anderson

I just looked for it on Youtube...

But I haven’t had any luck yet. What I did find, though, is a highlight of him hitting a “Fadeaway-falling-out-of-bounds” 3pter OVER Rashard when he was in Seattle. That was sick, but Turk looked alot younger and fresher then. I’d like to see him try that one now!!

The game-winner against Boston, because I was there. Fantastic game to see live.

One of those situations where everyone goes absolutely ballistic. You’re, like, high-fiving total strangers and screaming and yelling. And there are dudes in brand-new KG jerseys walking away hanging their heads.

For me....

Boston game winner or Philly game winner. I give the edge to Philly though, that jersey flaunting ala Carlos Arroyo with PR in the Olympics gave me chills, no homo.

Hedo’s shot Over the Sixers in Game 4!
GW fg against Portland off the Glass
His GW shot against Boston & Detroit that were game winner in the regular season two years ago!

And his potential GW shot in Game 2 vs Cavs, until we left LeBron with 1.1secs left. That loss hurt. But looking back I’m happy that game happened. It made that series win more satisfying. Hedo will be missed!!!
