"I will just say this about the end in Orlando: Some people don’t understand that because my hearing is impaired, I’m really, really good at reading lips from even across the gym," Allred said. "With some of these [team executives], it’s just like you’re in high school again with all the cliques, the way that they talk about you. I’ve seen this all before, except now the kids have millions of dollars."
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports writes a nice piece on Lance Allred, an individual who participated in the Summer League with the Orlando Magic.

You know lots of people who were in that gym will be re-thinking
“What did I say?” when they read this article.
Lip-reading is a scary and cool skill to have, but I’m not sure I’d want to know what people are saying.
It's a double-edged sword.

Deadly in the hands of children.
"Fun fact: Larry Hughes, who couldn’t stay healthy if all his human parts were replaced with bionic implants, is out for the next four weeks with a bruised leg. Do you think that Willis Reed ever reads about all these players missing time with bruises and sprained fingers and throws up in his mouth a little?"
