though why was Carter guarding Love to begin with?
I’m not going to guarantee the ‘08 draft class is going to go down as one of the greatest in NBA history — it doesn’t quite have a top-level star yet. But early returns are promising, especially considering almost all of those guys are still really young. (Remember what strides Durant made in his second year…) I wouldn’t be surprised to see five, six All-Stars come out of that class.
He's currently two-thirds man, one-third amazing. Which, let's face it, is still a pretty good ratio.

Lopez and Harris(?) are both on the guard, and there’s nobody weak side other than the guy up at the top of the paint. Carter wasn’t really guarding Love, he was just the closest Net once Love got the ball all alone.

I think Lee will be a starter in the league for a long time, but I don't know about All-Star.
