Around SBN: Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant's Post-Game 5 Outfits

Marcus Thompson II, who covers the Warriors for the Bay Area News Group, writes in his blog that "the Warriors would like to keep [C.J.] Watson at the right price. And it looks like they can."

Could it be that the Warriors front office is leaking that it would like to keep Watson at the right price just to elicit better trade offers from other teams? Sure.

The Warriors have four point guards under contract: Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry, Speedy Claxton and Acie Law. But as Thompson notes, Claxton and Law have a combined $7.5 million in expiring contracts, which make them more valuable to the Warriors on the trade market. And keeping Watson would give the Warriors some insurance if Curry, a rookie, falters.

I'd love to have Watson aboard the Magic express...

….but I know it’ll take some serious turn of events in order to do that. Right now, it looks like JJ Redick is the most expendable because he has one year left on a decent sized contract and he just has not fit in with what we would like him to do. I also understand that GSW have many PGs and SGs and would most likely need a big in return. Too bad we couldnt somehow do a Redick, Gortat and 2nd rounder + fillers swap for Watson, Biedrins and fillers.

All Im saying is, if Otis gets this Watson deal done somehow (if he still feels that Watson would be a good fit here) he seriously deserves a medal of commendation for his work in the offseason. Right now, he’s doing Jerry West type stuff (Jerry West of the past, not Gasol for Kwame Jerry West).

Yeah, if Otis somehow pulls this off .. my head would explode.

Just doesn’t seem feasible, at this point in time.

In case we can't get Watson

Here’s what I came up with:

It’s simple but look at the projected wins :P
