Two weeks ago, the stout, 5-10 point guard [Levance Fields] was told he hadn't made the Orlando Magic roster after an uneven showing in the team's summer league. Days later, he signed a lucrative three-year deal to play in the Russian Superleague with Spartak St. Petersburg.
Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News has an update on Magic summer-league invitee Levance Fields. Unsurprisingly, he will not join the Magic in training camp.
