Sign and Trade Hedo!!
OK real magic fans!! Lets get real here how does this trade sound. Since everybody keeps on saying the Magic are going to try to get two big men... I still have not done the math, but it makes sense because then Hedo can get max dollar and the Magic will have two Big men and it would put them over the edge. It was made clear in the finals we needed a scrappy PF to help Dwight and battle with Gasol/Bynum/Odom. Plus factor a healthy Celtic team they are very deep in the department of bigs. Not to mention the Cavs have got Shaq/Z/Anderson/Smith if the last two resign with the Cavs.
Here is my proposed trade...
Hedo/Rights to Fran Vasquez/ a future first round pick to the Pistons for Wallace and Dice..
What do you all think??

If detroit wants Hedo, then S/Ting could be possible. Magic would love both of those players I think. Its not worth the future 1st tho I think so Id take that out. And Magic may just be able to get Sheed with a MLE or something and Dice a min, or biannual exception. I think both teams are talking to each other tomorrow night, atleast on a talk and listen, otherwise they might get hedo and us get sheed/dice themselves.

mmmmmmmmm....
I personally like the idea, but idk if DET is “dumb” enough to take a player like Franny seeing how Ricky did MIN wrong this passed week. I wouldnt mind it like I said.

Yeah, Detroit isn't taking Vazquez.
Kevin McHale isn’t running that team ..

Look at that dude on youtbue he has got mad game.. Give the Pistons the rights to him instead of us having to buy out his contract if he ever decides to come to the NBA.

I know that Vazquez is skilled but still .. he hasn't shown any indication that he's willing to come over.
It makes no sense for Detroit to trade for a guy that may never play in the NBA.

I'd rather just sign Hedo
And get a backup C on the vets minimum. If we’re going to be spending $10m or so more, spending on players we know fit our system makes more sense to me then bringing in new guys.

The Magic won't spend that much money.
If I had to guess, Otis has roughly $5 million to $7 million to play with.

That's what I figure
Which is why a sign and trade doesn’t work anyway.

Yeah, wouldn't work.
Looks like my guess was right, since it’s being reported by Brian Schmitz that $5 million to $7 million is what Otis is looking at, maybe $10 million (but I doubt Orlando spends that much).

but what if you sign Hedo to a backloaded deal at 10mil now ranging up to 11,12-ish mil per yr, then trade for multiple players, one 5mil, one 1mil, one 1-2mil, picks?

they wont trade three players and picks for one guy...
then theyd have the same problem we have with not having enough players
