Revisiting the 2004 NBA Draft
FanHouse's Gary Washburn looks back at the 2004 NBA Draft and concludes, rather easily, that the Orlando Magic made the right choice when they selected Dwight Howard first overall. Note, however, where Washburn says Magic point guard Jameer Nelson--originally selected by the Nuggets at 20, then shipped to Orlando for a future first-rounder--would have ended up if the draft were re-done today.

VERY, VERRRY interesting and fun to read...
but just terrible choices and analysis.
Kevin Martin over Devin Harris?!?!
Okafor over 20/10 Al Jefferson??
Shaun Livingston over Ariza?
And Ariza going to the Trailblazers because ‘the talent’ would be unbelievable. Uhm, The Blazers already HAVE 4 Ariza’s on their roster. They don’t need another.
Very fun read, but just dumb DUMB basketball decisions.
