The Orlando Magic will look to even their NBA Finals series with the Los Angeles Lakers at 2 games apiece tonight at Amway Arena. How can they do it? Depends on whom you ask. Robert Horry, the retired NBA player with 7 championships and a former teammate to Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, thinks Orlando needs to double-team Bryant more aggressively, while Magic center Adonal Foyle has prescribed some ways in which Orlando can counter Los Angeles' own swift defense of Dwight Howard.
We'll find out if either of those gents is right at 9, less than 2 hours from now.

My thoughts are simple .. must-win game for the Magic. Either the matchup goes 3-1, which would mean it’s all but a wrap for the Lakers winning the title or the matchup goes 2-2, which would mean it’s anyone’s series.

This is a big game in the series, E. The magic evening it up tonight presents a whole world of problems for the Lakers. It’s going to be a major uphill climb for the Lakers to go home down 3-2 (there’s no doubt in my mind that if the Magic win tonight that they’re winning on Sunday) and the Magic carrying all the momentum.
I’m already on the edge of my seat. Which is kinda dangerous since I’m on my roller chair in my office at work.

I think we played Bryant pretty well
Although I’m slightly concerned that a more officious reffing crew would give him even more bailout fouls if Lee gets into his body again.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — NBA referee Bennett Salvatore has been sentenced to a year of probation, 150 hours of community service and fined $500 for his role in an airline ticket scam.
The 50-year-old Stamford resident pleaded guilty on July 26 to filing a false tax return with the Internal Revenue Service for the tax year 1993.
Salvatore was one of about a dozen NBA referees accused of not reporting income when they were reimbursed for first-class airline tickets after buying less-expensive tickets, prosecutors said.

The officiating has been a non-factor because of the talent level on both of these teams.

Both coaches have been lobbying. ALL coaches do.
Both teams have shown and spoken with a ton of respect for one another. Orlando doesn’t have to do any crying. They’re to busy battling the Lakers and from what I’ve read so far….. they’ve got you to do that for them.

Agression will be no problem.
All players (including the bench) looks like they are on a mission. I think Shard should be more moving on offense to get the ball. If he also gets it going I’ll feel much comfortable. A good 3rd quarter and Lakers look like they will already leave their target one win to the 5th game.

Meer gets into the lane better than Skip.
They both do well, but Rafer has to sweep in and move the ball quick, or get the hell out. Usually he tosses up a close shot that he doesn’t make reliably. Jameer is a lot stronger and better at protecting the ball with people around him, and can finish or make the tight pass inside. If you see Skip pass on a drive, it’s almost always back outside.
