Poll: Predict The Winner Of Game 2
Greed - excessive desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves.
Tonight, the Orlando Magic will face off against the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Even though the Magic were successful in wrestling away home-court advantage from the Celtics on Monday, the team shouldn't be content with splitting the first two road games. Orlando needs to be greedy but rest assured, Boston isn't going to make it easy for the men in blue.
If I was head coach Stan Van Gundy, I would put the following stat on the dry erase board before the game - when an NBA team nets a 2-0 series lead, the series victory probability is 93.5% (203-14). You think that number would psyche the players up?
Also, I posted this statistic yesterday but I'll mention it again. The Orlando Magic are 22-2 on the road when leading after the first quarter this season. Needless to say, it's imperative that the team gets off to a quick start again like it did two nights ago.
With all that said, the poll is simple. Who you got in Game 2?

Eddie F. Rush, one of tonight’s officials, is regarded as one of the home-friendliest refs in the entire league.
I'll take Boston.
Not strictly because of the refs, but I expect them to rebound and play at a high intensity from the opening tip to the end. If Magic can match that intensity, then they win, but it has been rare occasions when the Magic have played with intensity for four quarters.

Yeah, I'm taking Boston too.
I think the Celtics will bounce back and give a strong performance tonight to even up the series at 1-1.

Magic get my vote
When I voted in the earlier poll predicting the series split, I took the Magic in 6 thinking the Magic could work hard enough to pull off a game 1 upset with against the round-1-weary Celts. After seeing the game 1 play — lead slip notwithstanding — and with hopes of capitalizing on the 93.5% series victory probablity, I lloking for the Magic W tonight.

We'll see.
Orlando is definitely capable of winning tonight, but you have to figure Boston will play with a greater sense of urgency this time around. The C’s know that they can’t pull themselves into a 2-0 hole.

Boston is on the ropes.
We have to go for the jugular tonight. Come out blazing and don;t let them get in any kind of rhythm. Stan should have them in the same mindset as the game where we smacked Cleveland around for 48 minutes. Just straight gunning.
This team is due a massive game like that and is more than capable tonight, to send a message.
Then the refs will probably eject Dwight for getting smacked by Rondo.

I agree, I've got Orlando winning tonight with you. And as everyone knows, I don't pick them to win big games easily.
I just see how this team has responded, like they’ve had a chip on their shoulder since losing game 1 to Philly, since losing game 3 to Philly, playing without Dwight, playing at Boston, winning, yet nearly collapsing, I see no reason why they don’t respond to the adversity of another home game in Boston coming off of their “moral victory.” hahaha.

Yeah, I like that the Magic were ticked how they won Game 1
Like SVG said, it’s the perfect situation where you get the win, but you still feel like you have to make adjustments to learn from what went wrong.

I expect
Ray to Go off and Rondo to play well.
We need Dwight to take more shots and Hedo to finally have a game were he gets hot.
