Where Playing For 48 Minutes Happens

It’s too bad the Magic only played for 36 last night, however that was all that was required.

I just based the title off of what Rashard Lewis said after the game.

You know, before the series began, I said — I don’t know if I said it here — but I said that if we got our regular-season game at the Q back four times in the playoffs, through the 47-minute mark, there’s no question we would’ve won that game at least one of those four times. Well, this was pretty much that game again, and look what happened.

Yeah, and we broke your damn shot clock too.

LeBron question

I know there was a statistic to the effect that 83% of LeBron’s shots against Orlando were jumpers, as opposed to 66% against the whole league. Do we have a percentage for last night?

Yeah, and we broke your damn shot clock too.

Just go to ESPN or another site and look up the shot chart for LeBron.

As far as I can tell...

19 of his 30 shot attempts were considered jump shots (63.33%), so actually below his season average and WELL below his average against the Magic.

Orlando Magic ECF-bound!

Yup. Just took a look at the shot chart and you're correct.

If you take a real close look, notice when the attempts in the lane were made? All but two were in the first half, except for his two drives to the basket in the fourth quarter. That’s a telling stat.

Good job magic…

lol@ cavaliers…I thought they won the championship in the first half, i was waiting for the confetti to fall from the rafters

the magic dont go away, and that front running crowd started going quiet when the magic cut it to like 10, it was actually hilarious. that and the cavs were over on the bench chomping on there towels like they have never been in a close game before…LOL

finish the cavs off, I really cant stand them…and even though your team beat mine, I have grown to like the magic

We'll see.

Orlando just needs to keep grinding away against Cleveland. Take it one game at a time.

Good win

I’m a Lakers fan i’ve always had a soft spot for Orlando since the SHaq/Penny days, yes I wanted you to beat Houston but Hakeem Olajuwon had other ideas.
Anyway all I can say is i was sooooo happy to see the Magic deliver a gut blow to the over hyped media darlings who the last time I checked are yet to win a title.

I was SICK for the entire year of the way the media was drooling over Lebron and making it seems like they were a lock for the trophy.

Let me say this I don’t know about any other Lakers fan out there but for the entire year there has been just one team i’ve feared and it this Magic team.

I knew Boston was a one-peat team and had no chance of doing a double and I realized the Crabs/Cavs were a bunch of nobodies who need Lebron to do everything in order for them to have a chance (the thing is LBJ is that good so he has been able to inspire them).

Anyways I always knew this Cavs team had yet to meet adversity and their 8-0 win streak was over hyped because lets face it Detroit had no interest in winning and Atlanta well what can I say about them except that no team that gets blown out by Miami 3 times in a series is a serious contender.

Good luck for the rest of the series and I hope we meet you in the finals (that’s if we make it)

We promise to be merciful in the finals if you do us a BIG favor....

…take out Magic Killer Chauncey Billips and his Detr..uhmmm Denver Nuggets!!! He’s the only player and team the Magic truly fear in the playoffs…or at least it’s fans anyway..:)
