Poll: Predict The Leading Scorer #2

The poll is back for more.

We all know what's at stake tonight. Win, and the Magic clinch the series. Lose, and Orlando plays a Game 7. Dwight Howard is suspended for the game, which means that Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, and company will need to pick up the slack offensively. With that said, who will be the leading scorer for Orlando tonight? Which player, do you think, will rise to the occasion and lead the way for the Magic against the Philadelphia 76ers?

Free elbow pads will be distributed to those that predict a specific scoring total or stat line in the comments section below.

Oh, and a scoring prediction? Hmmm...probably 27 pts, 7 ast, 6 rb

Anything less and the Magic are in for a LONG night!

My stat line prediction was pretty close, just picked the wrong player.

Like I said though, it needed to be Rashard, it was, and we won handily!

Yeah, you had the right stat line, just the wrong player. No worries.

You had the right idea saying it needed to be Lewis.

Hedo hasn't been playing well in the series and I don't see how tonight will be any different.

.. Iggy has clamped down on him. Rashard really needs to have a monster game tonight.

He's capable, sure, but I'm erring on the side of caution with him.

Gortat

Go ahead and lock in Gortat for a double double tonight, and Hedo as the leading scorer. Hedo feeding off the momentum from his gw trey in Philly keeps it going tonight on the road.

Agreed about Gortat.

As for Hedo, well .. not sure if he will be able to feed off the momentum of winning a game-winning trey on the road. Turkoglu had another pedestrian performance in Game 5 (3-14 shooting, 9 points) and a crap series overall, so no trends lead me to believe Turk will go off tonight. He may, but I doubt it.

Yeah, right now it's been all Rashard and Hedo.

No votes for Rafer Alston, harsh.

Too late to edit the poll, since I don’t want to skew the results. But we can keep a running tally of “the field”.

Offensively here's what I think we need

60 combined points from Hedo, Lewis and Skip

20 combined points from Gortat and our other starter (Pietrus or JJ)

15 bench points (AJ, Battie and our bench 2 guard)

That’s 95 points and should be more then enough to win

Yeah, if the Magic can get that .. like you said, should be more than enough to win.

.. as long as Orlando doesn’t forget to play defense on Philadelphia. Should be interesting.

gortat

does it really have to be lewis or turk!? if we want to stand any chances tonight, gortat will have to really step up tonight. well,it will be night here in bosnia and herzegovina cause game starts in 2:00 am by local time :(. and i have to go to the job in the 6! but anything for the magic!!! anyway,it’s not like we have to play with 4 players, just cause there isn’t dwight or c lee. have faith!!! philly isn’t such a team as results in playoff would say about them. little bit of luck and we’ll finish the job tonight.
GO MAGIC!!!

It has to be Lewis and Turk because when they play well, the Magic play well.

If you look at the numbers, that’s been the trend all season. But yeah, a little luck wouldn’t hurt.

Bosnia and Herzegovina! Wow, talk about support. That’s awesome.

Welcome to 3QC, btw!

I’m going to go with Rashard Lewis, finishing with 25-35 points
