Commissioner David Stern is coming to Orlando — and so is the league's NBA All-Star Game.

Stern told the Sentinel on Friday that Orlando will play host to the league's all-star game but didn't say when the game would come to the city's new arena, which is scheduled to open in 2010.

"We're coming to Orlando," Stern said before the Magic faced Philadelphia in Game 3 at Wachovia Center. "We just can't tell you when right now."

Stern said he will be in Orlando next Tuesday for Game 5 between the Magic and the 76ers and tour the Events Center.

Yup 92, The game Magic came back for

That was the classic one where Magic Johnson came back and won MVP after he had retired. And I think Ceballos won the dunk contest on that blindfold dunk

Should be a good one, Im guessing 2011 or 2012 Orlando will get it

Yeah, Ceballos won.

.. Nick Anderson finished #3rd in the contest, by the way.

I’ve said for the last 5 or so years, if Orlando gets the ASG, I’ll fly over from the UK for it. Looks like I better check out flights to O-Town in 2011

This post was bought to you by British beer, cured meat products and Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje: the player so good, they named him twice.
