Magic Fans, keep your heads up

I feel like we can close it out in PHI on game 6 by winning the next 3 games, Im very confident in what I say. I think we have figured out what it takes for us to close the Sixers out, dont give up on this team yet. This is the best team we've had in the passed decade, we aint gonna lose in the first round to a #6 seed. Lets just get Hedo and Rashard rested up until Sunday, I think we'll be back in fighting shape by then.

Tonight was the only game we've really lost, game 1 was pure luck. Keep those heads up, we got this, LETS GO MAGIC!!!

I applaud the optimism .. and I agree. No need to give up on the Magic yet.

There’s still plenty of fight left in Orlando. Likewise, the series is FAR from over.

Thanks and if there was nothing else to take from this game 2nite....

…at least we can maybe re-sign (or sign and trade) Hedo for much less than what we could have offered him last season (since he’s been on the decline as of late). I just hope we learn from our mistakes from these passed 3 games, we need to learn that it’s time to play.

Time for Turk to go?

If anything, I think this series has proven how limited Orlando is with Turkoglu. I would not be hugely disappointed if Turkoglu walks as long as Orlando gets another big’ish small forward who can shoot to replace him (I know, hard to find) or a power forward who can bruise and enforce for Howard.

We either need to get someone who is more athletic to guard the small forwards of the league or bag the small power forward experiment and try to go big with a real power forward.

I don’t know how it will all play out this summer and I certainly would be happy to see Turkoglu back, but something has got to change immediately for Orlando to win this series, and some adjustments have to be made over the summer to make sure something like this series does not happen with this type of team.

Hedo has a lot on his plate right now and I think he's just being overwhelmed emotionally/mentally.

.. Turkoglu is trying to deal with the contract situation, fight an ankle injury, etc.

For sure...

I wonder how much Turkoglu’s ankle issue is bugging him. He said he has never felt good wearing tape and he started doing it. They are all playing like the weight of the entire world is on their shoulders and it is crushing them right now. They need to keep things light heading to tomorrow and relax a little.

Well .. the team needs to learn how to live up to expectations.

Dwight Howard is always talking about winning titles. Well, this is part of the task.

Just focus

Orlando has to play smarter on the offensive side and not settle for the 3 when Howard is double teamed. Post up Shard!

Still not giving up hope

I’m so dissapointed with this team so far. They aren’t playing playoff basketball. Rashard Lewis and Turk are the swine virus of this Magic team. Hedo and Rashard play no defense, make retarded plays on offense. They don’t know how to pass the ball. Rashard turns the ball over at least two times with his weak **** passes to Dwight down low. Hedo turns the ball over several times with his retarded cross court passes. I hate to bash the Magic because I’m a die hard fan, but it’s so hard no to be dissapointed with this teams effort. Rashard and Turk are just horrible, and I’m tired of hearing of their so called injuries. They’ve been playing 35 minutes plus, they’re not hurt. They’re lazy!!!! Rashard Lewis can take Marshall to the hole any time he wants to but never calls for the ball. When he does take it to the hole, it’s such a weak take. He tries to avoid contact by unneccesarily going to the other side of the basket or stopping dead in his tracks before he gets near the basket. He misses wide open threes, and the complains at the end of the game about how the defense gives him no good looks. Also during the game, there are plenty of oppurtunities for him to hustle for loose balls or foul AI and the other sixers driving to hole, but doesn’t. Geez Rashard what the hell is the matter with you. You think the Boston Celtics will let you get easy layups. No! they foul your **** sending you to the line. Now Turk, even though I can go all day about Lewis. Turk learn how to pass the ball shoot when your open and get back on defense you lazy ****. During the season I’ve noticed how many mistakes you make and your lack luster effort throughout the game, but I always thought you would bring a different mentality for the playoffs. Looks like I was wrong. I hate to sounds like I hate Turk and Rashard, but they’ve brought upon themselves for the way they embarrass our team, D12, us fans and the city of Orlando. With that being said (AJ’s favorite words), I think we should start Battie at the four put Lewis at the three and bring Turk off the bench. Our bench has been noticeably weak so far and maybe Turk can relish in that six man role. I think Battie can keep up with Young, who is not all that, and Rashard if he hustles can tame AI somewhat. I want to thank Dwight, mostly, AJ, MP, Skip, Lee, and Battie for the effort so far. Although we are down 1-2 both of those losses came to near lucky shots by AI and Young, so there should be some comfort in that. However, if we don’t bring any effort from here on out we will not win this series. If by some chance we do, we will not get past Boston. LETS GO MAGIC!!!!
