The Sixers seemingly plan on delivering some playoff contact to Magic rookie Courtney Lee tonight in Game 3 --- and they tip-toed around the subject Friday after the Erick Dampier controversy. [...]
Philly Coach Tony DiLeo said of Lee, who has averaged 21 points in the two games,"Well, we want to protect our paint. Definitely don't want to give up any easy shots around the basket. That's about all I'm going to say, because someone else came out and said something. (reference to Dampier/Tony Parker).
"Especially in playoff basketball. You have to protect your paint. And you can't give up any easy layups."
Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy, when asked about Lee getting roughed up, said, "That's fine. You can't control the way other guys are going to play anyway. They can play anyway they want.
