Dun, dun dun...
This might be looking a little far ahead, but it couldn't help but catch my attention:
"After today there's no way he can play," said Rivers, who left open the possibility his star could return at some point in the postseason but was not optimistic. An NBA source confirmed to the Globe this morning that Garnett was only about 70 percent healed from the knee injury, which occured during a Feb. 19 game in Utah, and that the Celtics All-Star would likely miss the entire postseason.
Whole article here.
Chance!
Though I do hope KG gets better.

Yeah I saw this on the tube and...
low and behold, EVERYONE immediately jumped on the Magic bandwagon. They said that we are Cleveland’s nightmare and that because we own them, we could definitely represent the east. With all 16 teams healthy, I thought we were the best team in the east anyway.
Orlando may own Cleveland in the regular season, but can they do the same in the postseason?
That’s the key question, if the Magic do advance past the Celtics. Way too early to tell, at this point.

another quote:
"It’s not official that he’s out for the entire playoffs, but it’s official as far as I’m concerned," Rivers said before practice at the team’s workout facility. "I just don’t see how. I hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t see it."
I wouldn’t say that we’re looking too far ahead, we’ve been speculating about this matchup for months now. I love KG, and it wouldn’t be as satisfying beating Boston without him…but I have to admit, the prospect of being able to prove we can take Cleveland in Cleveland is exciting to me.
I said it the night he got injured
We’re down to 2 all-stars on our team after Nelson going down, and now so are the celtics. Seems even to me. I have no sympathy for him anyway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuxOKp7JtHo

Even if KG is out, Boston is still capable of beating Orlando in a seven-game series.

Yes
But they go from strong favourites to slight favourites, or perhaps even evens.

It goes from Boston being slightly favored to the odds being even for both teams if KG is out.
