3QC End-Season Awards: MVP
Since the second-half of the season has gone by for the Orlando Magic, it's time to present the inaugural Third Quarter Collapse End-Season Awards. Instead of conducting a regular poll, we at 3QC have decided for you to vote and comment which Magic player you feel is most deserving of each award.

Dwight Howard

Foyle- He almost had a double double last night.
Kidding… Dwight.

Jameer Nelson
Part of this is me bucking the trend, wanting to honor ’Meer, etc.

This post was bought to you by British beer, cured meat products and Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje: the player so good, they named him twice.
LMAO.
Nice.

Dwight
Yawn

If we use the standards that the real MVP voters use
it would have to be Jameer. He is a scorer, and look how much the teams misses him when he is out! Just kidding. . Dwight Howard for sure. Not only is he a dominant defensive player, he leads the team emotionally and elevates the level of play around him.

Hi
I like the Magic.
Give it 2-3 years let dwight become at least 26before you start expecting results.

What?
He probably will finish 4th in MVP voting, a shoe-in for All-NBA First Team, a shoe-in for All-Defensive First Team, will win the Defensive Player of the Year. This is all just this year, mind you.

If anyone says someone other than Dwight
I want some of your drugs. No one changes the game on both ends of the floor like he does. Can only imagine next year…
Shaq sucks.
Dwight
His numbers, as respectable as they can be, DO NOT tell the story of how dominant he has become. I’d say he strikes fear in the heart of every opponent that dares to drive to the rim, but he’s a pretty jolly guy, and I think “strikes fear” is a bit melodramatic. Wittiness aside, he’s gone well beyond changing shots and entered the realm of changing offensive schemes in preparation to play the Magic.
