In an unusual twist to a minor trade, Milwaukee traded Tyronn Lue to Orlando for Keith Bogans and then found out within seconds that Luke Ridnour has a broken thumb and will be out for a month. [...]
The other irony to the trade is that the Magic have reassembled the Hawks' point guard rotation from last season. The pairing of Lue and Anthony Johnson was found wanting enough that the Hawks sent both out at the trade deadline and acquired Mike Bibby instead, but the Magic don't have any alternative. It's pretty much a bare-bones, replacement-level duo (Lue's PER is 11.03, Johnson's 10.25), but both veterans will defend OK and make open shots, and that meets Orlando's minimum requirements at the moment.

Oh crap, I never thought of this
All Magic need now is to obtain Speedy Claxton, so they can immediately put him on the injured list to complete the perfect Atlanta trifecta.

Yeah, it's pretty evident that the Magic need to pursue Speedy Claxton immediately to complete the Hawks triumvirate.

I had actually married myself to the idea of AJ & Lue as the point guards...
I knew they weren’t going to be anything great, but I had managed to convince myself that it would be an “okay” pairing. Even though the Hawks eventually made the playoffs last year (at several games under .500, mind you) , they were a pretty crappy team before they traded for Bibby to take over the point.
Still, those two are the Magic guys now, so I am going to remain positive about this. Besides, the Magic’s players are superior than those Hawks’ players despite what that journalist from the Atlanta paper may say.

I'm still not a fan of the trade, but I've said my piece so I'll leave it at that.
As for both A.J.‘s & Lue’s impact to the team .. it’ll be minimal at best. The Magic will go to the second round of the POs, face either Boston or Cleveland, give them a hell of a series and go down guns blazing. Given how well Orlando plays defense, they’ll give either team grief.
