Word of the Day: Homecoming
homecoming (n.) - return: a coming to or returning home;
Via Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel:
Tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors is a homecoming for [Stan] Van Gundy. He grew up in Martinez, Calif., which is about 20 miles northeast of Oakland. [...]
Tonight also serves as a homecoming for SFs Mickael Pietrus and Matt Barnes, C Adonal Foyle and General Manager Otis Smith. Pietrus and Barnes used to play for the Warriors. So did Foyle, who is injured but said he would make the trip. Smith played for the Warriors and later worked in the team's front office.

WEIRD DREAM ALERT
I was dreaming right before I woke up just a few minutes ago that the Magic were losing to the Warriors 238-200 and were trying to mount a come-back with 5 minutes left in the 4th.
Hope that doesn’t happen…

When I read homecoming and saw Wade in the picture, I got a semi mental-boner, dammit E, you tease. Good article though.
