Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

He's Back

After serving a 10-game suspension for testing positive for an elevated testosterone level, Rashard Lewis will make his season debut against the Charlotte Bobcats in tonight's game.

The Orlando Magic went 7-3 in his absence.

Welcome back, Mr. Lewis.

Watching my Suns win last night and the Lakers lose, combined with this bit of good news, makes a great start to my day.

The Magic did a decent job while he was out...

At least we kept on pace with the Cavs and Celtics as far as losses (3 each). I’m ready for the NBA to see the “real” Magic now with our 2 “Stretch 4’s” (Lewis and Anderson).

BTW…who would guess that after about 10 games or so, the Hawks and Suns would be leading their respective conferences…lol.

Probably about the same amount of people who thought Orlando would get crushed by OKC. :)

Yeah, that's the most important thing.

Despite all the riff raff, the Magic are on pace with the Cavaliers and Celtics in the loss column.

I think he’s worth every penny Otis signed him for. Him and Dwight are the most important players for the Magic. Lewis was clutch in the ECF’s, took over game 6 against philly. I hope him being absent and people seeing how important 4 out 1 in is to the Magic’s success will get people off his back about his contract.

He'll always be overpaid, but that doesn't make him less valuable.

I was hoping for 9-1

But I’m satisfied that we now know how valuable having a player with the skillsets of Lewis/Anderson is to the team. That knowledge is worth 2 losses.

Now as for tonight… 125 points for Orlando?

I rather see the Magic hold the Bobcats to 75 points.

LoL don’t worry the Suns will have a good season and a disappointing postseason. Big beats little. And the hawks will come back down to earth and bow down to the south eastern champs.

I hope its not 125 points tonight. I’d rather see a 100-75 score. I want to see that #1 ranked defensive efficiency tonight.

Looks like Charlotte will have a different lineup...

No Raja Bell or Vlademir Radmanovic… Enter Steven Jackson and Acie Law!

We’ll still need a solid D effort, and no game is automatic when you look at our lineup and how new Rashard will be to the newbies…

Has it been approved by the league and did players pass their physicals?

Meaning, will these new acquisitions actually be in the lineup tonight?

Not sure, I've been tracking that and I haven't heard or read any confirmation.
