Despite a poor showing from their All-Star backcourt, the Orlando Magic defeated the Miami Heat, 90-86, to improve to 2-0 in preseason play. Ryan Anderson led the Magic in his debut in pinstripes with 16 points in 24 minutes off the bench, while Miami's Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 17 points on 6-of-18 shooting. Orlando's starting backcourt of Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson combined to shoot 2-of-16 from the field and 0-of-6 from three-point range for 10 points. You can check the boxscore here.
