Tonight, the Orlando Magic begin its quest in pursuit of a championship by facing off against a playoff nemesis from the 2009 NBA Playoffs - the Philadelphia 76ers.

It's the final season opener at the Amway Arena, also known as the O-Rena.

We are overdue...

Read all the reports… the press capsules… the previews… saw THE game. NOW it’s crunch time!

2008-09 was a Magical season… no one will ever forget it; and there’s no way to tell how high the Magic will reach this year…

But I have a feeling, deep inside, based on EVERYTHING I have soaked up, that THIS will be a championship year.

The word to remember is DRIVE… don’t get complacent!

Tonight it’s the first step in the long road to that Championship: “One small step for man…”.

We win the East last year and get no respect in the off-season nor preseason. Cavs and Celtics are the teams to beat, thats all I hear on TV. I live with a Lakers fan (BOOOOOO) and can’t stand him rubbing it in every chance he gets. We got better in the off-season and we are deeper than anybody in the East by far. Could this be the year??
