The Magic Need to Start Playing ASAP

This year has been a very trying one for me personally. I am one that invests himself entirely into my favorite teams. However, I am quite unlucky since I am a Miami Dolphins and Florida State football fan. I know, I know... I can feel the sympathy thru the computer but dammit i don't want to keep feeling this way. I am accustomed to being disappointed as a fan every Saturday but why did "those" bastards have to go and take my Sundays!!! The Dolphins are driving me crazy. They give me 1-15 season. Then they make the playoffs and now they are smack dab back into obscurity... WHHHYYY!! I hate Ginn!! Why is he so bad... sorry sorry  I'll take that to the Phinsider

Alas, there is hope. The Orlando Magic are unbeaten in pre-season and are only getting better each game. I am so happy that I am a genuine fan of a great WINNING organization. This team is made up of right kind of players. Guys that are supremely talented but have the right personality to go along with it. I can't tell you how uplifting it is when your team has guys that you actually like *beneath* the jersey.

So lets get this season started and off to a hot start. I want to see Nelson silence his doubters and prove last season was no fluke. I want Pietrus and Barnes to be absolute terrors in the open court and to piss off the other team by their non-stop aggression. I want somebody to put a microphone in Gortat's face all year. The guy could do stand-up and I would pay ALOT. I want Dwight Howardto step up and become the MVP that he is completely capable of being. I believe that he can do it with the help of this team.

Let's Go Magic! Save me from my misery

Philadelphian here

I feel you – until last year, none of my teams had won anything in my lifetime (OK, the Sixers won it all when I was a month old, but I don’t exactly remember that far back).

Try being an alum of a once-proud national basketball program (DePaul).

I'm the other guy at Third Quarter Collapse, with a Twitter account.

Steven Hunter

15th overall pick in 2001. Averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15.4 minutes/game for his career.

It was kind of funny, too. In 2000 we traded the 2001 first-rounder to Denver (along with Abdul-Wahad and Gatling) for Billups, Mercer, and Johnny Taylor. Then we got the pick back for trading Omar Cook to Denver.

Hunter ended up being dealt to Cleveland along with Gooden and Sideshow Bob for Battie, a 2005 second rounder, and a 2007 second rounder.

Keeping that in Mind

Gators/Bucs/Rays fan here- Im counting on the Magic a lot.

T-Jack is back, J.J has went back to sucking, Bates won't blitz, Raheem's bored.

Ginn is so bad

Because he’s lazily coasting on his physical ability instead of practicing the things that make WRs actually good, like not having hands made of stone.

Glad I could help you out. Go Colts.

I mean, er, Magic.
