Okay, Ben & E, I think we should now expect an in depth Magic preview like the Dream Shake's for the Rockets
That was incredibly detailed and interesting. I read every word of it and I’m not even into the Rockets. They set the bar high.

The Magic preview isn't for a few weeks yet.

Saving the best for last.

On ESPN they're doing chats on each team
In the Nets chat, someone asked if Brook Lopez had a shot at making the All Star team.
The blogger from NetsAreScorching, Sebastian Pruiti, had this to say:
“With the way that he started the preseason, I think there is a chance. If he does though, it will only be as a reserve, since Shaq has that starting spot locked up.”
Later, when reminded that there’s a little known All-Star center in Orlando, he persisted, saying that he believes Shaq will be the likely starter for the East.
To that, I say, “HAHAHAHA”
Dwight crushed Shaq in the fan voting the last time he was out East.
2008 results: Dwight 2,066,991 votes, Shaq 965,171 votes. Not even close.
And last year, with Dwight here and Shaq out west with the Suns? Dwight got a record 3,150,181 votes, Shaq got 1,850,018.
Dwight’s entrenched as the East starter at center for the next, what, decade? Unless Yao moves to an Eastern team, in which case the voting could get interesting…

Yeah, Shaq isn't starting at center for the East.
Dwight has a firm, and I mean FIRM, vice-grip on that position.

LOL I asked that question. Pruiti is a moron. I wanted Sheriden to answer.
I think Brook Lopez might make it over Shaq. He should’ve won rookie of the year last season. Shaq said last season that it was probably the last time he’d make an all-star game and he was right.

Easy on the name calling, but yeah, I do think Shaq's All-Star appearances are at an end.
Never know with O’Neal, though.

Yeah, if he's an All-Star, it's because he was voted in as a reserve.

I like him there
Just because he genuinely makes all star weekend more fun. They should invite 13 just so Shaq can come.
Yes, O'Neal does, but if he doesn't deserve to go, then he shouldn't go.

Shaq is looking pretty good to me. If he's playing consistent minutes and is active, I think he'll get some respect from the coaches.
Especially if Cleveland is winning big, which they probably will be. Brook Lopez will need to keep getting better and take his game to the next level to get noticed on a team like the Nets.
Historically, a player at his age is likely to see a steep decline in the numbers.
Neil Paine of Basketball-Reference touched on the topic a while back. Given his age and given that he had a bit of an anomalous season, I doubt Shaq duplicates his production from last year. It’s going to be extremely tough for him, given that history isn’t on his side.

Pruiti just isn't intelligent enough to run a good blog
I’m sorry but I’ve read his stuff for a while now and it’s nothing that I couldn’t have done in middle school.

That's fine if you don't like it, I rather people express their discontent with respect.
