Howard might be enjoying the most pre-all-star game hype right now for the Magic, but Superman is lobbying to take at least one of his sidekicks with him.
[...] "It would mean a lot," Howard said. "Jameer's the leader of our team. He pushes everybody to get better and that's what I like about him. I would love to see him be an all-star. He's playing great basketball and I truly believe he's one of the best point guards in the game right now."

Jameer's come back to earth lately, but he's still playing at a very high level
If another Magic player goes to Phoenix with Dwight, it’ll probably be Lewis.

Yeah, given how stacked the guards are for the East. I'd have to agree.
.. though statistically (obviously), Jameer deserves it just a bit more than ‘Shard. Though I wouldn’t mind either way.

Is it too late for a late rally with the Celts playing terrible now? Maybe he could still earn a reserve roll over say Rondo.

Not too late. The reserves are announced at the end of January.
It’s very possible that ’Shard earns the 2nd berth for the Magic. Keep your fingers crossed.
