"They [Orlando] are the best team in the East," Indiana’s Danny Granger said. "Two words—Dwight Howard—explain it. He is the most dominant player since Shaquille O’Neal—hands down."

High praise indeed . . .
In fact I was a little shocked to hear him say that especially since they’ve already played Boston and Cleveland this year.
Also, he also made no excuses for his poor play which leads me to believe that the Magic’s defense was at least partially responsible for his performance. Prior to reading that, I seriously thought he must’ve been hurt or feeling bad.
Interesting . . .
I was surprised too.
Especially after he’s played against Boston/Cleveland, as you’ve mentioned.

Some praise for Granger
It appears Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will likely get an Eastern Conference All-Star spot.
Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said it was a “no-brainer” to vote for Granger, the league’s fourth leading scorer, as an Eastern Conference reserve.
“I thought he was an easy one,” Van Gundy said before Tuesday’s game against the Pacers. “I liked everybody I voted for, obviously, but to me, I thought he and Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce and (Chris) Bosh were no-brainers as reserves. Those I didn’t have to think about.”
This article also states that Doc Rivers voted for Granger. Pacers coach Jim O’Brien voted for Jameer and Rashard.
Granger is absolutely a no-brainer All-Star.
He’s been incredible this season .. if somehow he doesn’t get in as a reserve, there should be an immediate investigation. But I think he’s a shoe-in.

Granger’s been a real baller for the Pacers this season. Interesting comment from him, although I guess they did just get absolutely beat down.
Dwight
Develops a face up jumper from 12-15 feet, he will go down as a top 5 center of all time.
"No matter where you go, you are what you are playa"-Jay Z
Agreed, though he may become a Top 5 center all-time anyway.
We shall see .. he’s still young (23) – yikes.
