Dr. Berri Wages in on the Orlando Magic. Some very interesting insights, and a recommended read.

I’m not gonna lie to you Ben, I stopped reading when I he wrote that Robinson was better then the Dream and Shaq.

Lots of people disagree with Berri

That’s not a widely held view, that Robinson’s better than either of those two players. So I understand your skepticism.

lol

Yeah, that part is a bit ridiculous. However he redeems himself by saying that Howard is on pace to be one of the best ever, and at this point is actually ahead of the curve.

My favorite part was about Garrity!

Plus, did you guys notice how much love Nelson gets in his metric? And that was just from the regular season….

Yeah

I think Jameer had a solid season last year. He just needs to make The LeapTM like Dwight did.

But saying he was the second-most productive player on the Magic (per minute)… that’s a bit fishy.

I think Nelson’s rebounding is a big plus for him. Berri’s metric likes point guards who rebound.

He’s also efficient from the field. Scores a solid amount. Doesn’t have too many turnovers. Steady assist numbers. Almost a 3-1 assist ratio.

I for one am a big Jameer fan…I’m not a big guy (5’11) and model my game after smaller guys (Jameer, A.I. etc) pretty closely. Lotta heart in the guy and i love that he puts his body on the line for the team (how many concussions now? lol) and isn’t scared to take a big shot.

Totally on board with the statement that Dwight would only be in his rookie year if he did college too. Thats downright terrifying!

Keep your dribble alive. That’s one of the things Jameer kinda forgets to do sometimes.

There’s a blog called Bucks Diary that did it’s own version of win shares which are very interesting. They look more in line with what I was expecting with Rashard Lewis in third place.

Thanks for the tip

I may have looked around the site for a few minutes a long time ago. I’ll check it out again.
