FC Barcelona Releases Mario Kasun from Contract

Former Magic forward Mario Kasun has left his Euroleague team, FC Barcelona. This news may interest us Magic fans because Orlando still owns his NBA rights, having extended him a qualifying offer last summer. Sure, it's probably a coincidence -- he and Barcelona agreed to terminate his contract due to health problems -- but it may leave the door open for him to return to Orlando for the preseason, at least.

Extremely late to the party, but
Kasun was renounced as a part of the Magic’s free agency shindig last offseason. Everybody except Fran Vazquez was. Even Mark Jones didn’t make it. the sweeping cull A crying shame.
