Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Obviously, there’s been a lot of speculation recently about my status with the Orlando Magic due to us drafting Courtney Lee and signing Mickael Pietrus. I’ve seen some articles written in the Orlando Sentinel saying that my time with Orlando is over. I have no idea what our roster is going to look like going into training camp but I will say this again: from everything I’ve been told, I expect to be with the Magic when training camp starts. That’s the bottom line.

J.J. Redick on his blog. He also mentions he's getting ready to see The Dark Knight for the third time.

I personally believe his expectations are correct. I think he’ll be here and Bogans will be gone. It doesn’t make sense to keep Bogans as a third string sg. We are just wasting another valuable trade asset again.

I don't care if JJ is with the Magic or not

But I’d rather have a guy whom I thought I was productive around Dwight Howard like Mikki could be, than rather have JJ. Would have to throw in Cook to get the deal done, but does that hurt anyone’s feelings around here? That’s what I thought.

If JJ Redick is what you got going for you as far as summer time drama you have a boring summer on your hands. It’s time to hit the water park if that’s the case.

Mikki Moore for Redick and Cook?

I’d do it if Moore’s contract didn’t run as long as it did. 2011, right? 2012? Yeesh. I bet Stan Van Gundy could get the best out of him, though.

I put up a fan post too Ben

I didn’t discuss contracts on the page (just linked it) but Moore’s contract runs out in 2010, and he even has a buyout that is roughly the same as Cook’s salary assuming he exercises his player option next season. That’s exactly why I think the deal could get done assuming the Kings want to dump Moore to free up playing time.

Not if they move Moore before Brad

I think they’ll move one or the other and keep one as backup to the Kids (Shelden Williams, Justin Thompson and Spencer Hawes).
