Dwight Howard Rocks!

Well, since nobody else has said anything, I will. First things first, I am one of the bloggers at the SBNation Suns blog, Bright Side of the Sun. Despite the fact my team had two guys represented in New Orleans, I'm just not a big fan of the whole All-Star thing. The All-Star break means one thing to me--a break. I usually just DVR the activities and skim through them after the fact. Huge time-saver, and then I can get back to the "break" part of it.

Star-divide

So, I was skimming through last night's festivities, mostly to see how the two Suns' participating in the events did (awful), and ended up at the dunk contest. The photo on ESPN of Dwight Howard in a Superman costume intrigued me, so I decided to watch the whole thing. It was obvious from the start that Howard really, really wanted to win this thing. His performance was polished, practiced, and dare I say it, inspired. Truly refreshing, especially seeing the joy on his face when they handed him the trophy. It may as well have been the Larry O'Brien trophy the way he was hugging it. Seriously, great stuff from someone who seems like an awesome person as well as an extremely talented one. Congrats to Magic fans. For anyone who missed it, Here are the highlights.
