Orlando Magic waive forward Jeremy Richardson

Brian Schmitz reports the Magic have waived Jeremy Richardson to prevent his contract from becoming guaranteed for the rest of the season. More importantly, it opens a roster spot, giving the Magic flexibility in the trade and free-agent market. Hm.
